Cherry Typeface
Inspired by Erik Spiekermann’s fonts – HWT Artz, FF Meta, and ITC Officina – this typeface emphasises their soft, curved, and friendly qualities. I exaggerated these features to create a set of unconventional characters using only circles, circular segments, and rectangles, reflecting the restrictive nature of typesetting. The arch-like structure, reminiscent of cherry stalks, inspired the typeface’s name.
